Chem Dept welcomes new adjunct faculty for technical elective

The University’s Chemistry Department welcomed Dr. Todd L. Lowary of the Institute of Biological Sciences (IBC), Academia Sinica, Taiwan as one of its newest members.
Dr. Lowary is set to share his expertise in synthetic chemistry through lecture classes in the Chemistry Department’s Technical Elective class, Synthetic Carbohydrate Chemistry, with the course code CM549.
Dr. Lowary is a renowned carbohydrate chemist and a distinguised research fellow and director of the IBC.
He also holds positions as member of the editorial board of numerous academic journals such as ChemistryOpen, Frontiers in Chemical Biology, Journal of Biological Chemistry and Journal of the Chinese Chemical Society.
