The Lady Falcons sustained their second loss of the season after dropping their game against University of Santo Tomas, 65-84, in the UAAP 86 Women’s Basketball Tournament held last October 4 at the Adamson Gym.

Adamson kept the first half competitive and kept in step with the Tigresses with stifling defense and transition offense.

The Espana-based crew, though, broke the game wide open in the third quarter as Season 82 Rookie of the Year Kent Pastra led UST’s assault, built mostly on three pointers, as they extend their lead entering the final canto, 55-71.

The Lady Falcons, who fell to 0-2, were led by Elaine Etang and Cheska Apag, who scored 13 points apiece. Victoria Adeshina added 12 markers, seven rebounds, two steals, and a block.

Adamson will look to give new head coach Ryan Monteclaro his first win this October 8 as they play Ateneo de Manila University in the same venue.
