ECE alum receives prestigious BICSI RCDD Certification

An alumnus of the Electronics Engineering Department recently became a member of a prestigious group of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) practitioners after hurdling its highly acclaimed examination.
Engr. Enrico Belveder III passed the Building Industry Consulting Service International Registered Communications Distribution Designer (BICSI RCDD) examinations, with the official certification being conferred last July 1. He joins an exclusive group of professionals in the Philippines and becomes one of only six nationwide to hold such accreditation.
Achieving the BICSI RCDD certification holds significant value within the ICT industry as it represents the leading standard for professional ICT-related credentials, with only approximately 7,500 individuals holding such designation.
The University expressed pride in Engr. Belveder’s achievement, regarding it as an inspiration to current and future aspirants in the field of Electronics Engineering, and a reflection of the quality education provided by the ECE Department.
The said certification was bestowed by BICSI, a globally recognized organization specializing in ICT education, certification and standards that recognizes the recipient’s advanced knowledge and expertise in designing, planning, integrating, and executing telecommunications and data communications technology solutions. With the RCDD credential, the recipient can create detailed cabling systems for new constructions or adapt existing infrastructures to accommodate evolving technological demands.
