AUSG Prexy, OSGP grantee represent Adamson in Baguio conference

Student leaders from Adamson University joined their fellow representatives from Southeast and East Asian Catholic Universities in the recently concluded 29th Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU) International Conference held last August 21 to 25 at Saint Louis University (SLU) in Baguio City. 

Adamson University Student Government President Adrian Jullan Lignes and Ozanam Student Grant Program grantee Mark Angelo Varilla represented AdU for the said conference, which advocated for student leaders to remember the ideals promoted by the papal encyclical Laudato Si, and the advancement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in their practices as representatives of their respective institutions and its student body. 

With the theme "Global Goals in the Care of our Common Home: A Catholic Response," the event gathered more than 200 faculty members and students from nine ASEACCU member countries. 

Dr. Gliceria Lunag, Dean of the College of Education and Liberal Arts, Sr.,Vilma Aquino, SDP, Director, Institute for Religious Education were also present for Adamson in the conference.
