NROTCU welcomes new batch of NSTP studes

National Service Training Program enrollees were officially welcomed in the new school year through an orientation spearheaded by the Office for Student Affairs, along with the cadets and officers of the University’s 246th Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit (NROTCU), August 19, at the University Theatre.
The said orientation was divided into discussions about the Reserved Officers Training Corps (ROTC) and Civil Welfare Training Service (CWTS) programs.
DP3 John Carlo C De Vera PN(Res) an actor, model and host known as JC De Vera and SN1 Elizabeth Therese Almonte PN(Res), known as DJ Shai of the 96.3 Easy Rock served as speakers for the said event, which had a morning and an afternoon session.
Fr. Andrew Bayal, CM, VP for Student Affairs and head of the ROTC and NSTP programs of the University was also present, along with 246th NROTC Commander LCDR Reimon Retaga, PN.
