Homegrown Adamsonian talent glimmered with the lights of the Rizal Park Open Air Auditorium as the University’s performing groups showcased their skills for the National Parks Development Committee’s (NPDC) “Concert at the Park” last August 27.

The Cultural Affairs Office (CAO), in partnership with NPDC, featured the Adamson University Chorale, Adamson University Dance Company, Adamson University Brass Band and Acoustic Band in a night full of flair and memories that both performers and audience alike surely will not forget.

This appearance was the groups’ first since their last showing almost four years ago.

The Chorale serenaded the audience with their renditions of “Para Sa’yo Bayani,” “Ili-ili Tulog Anay,” and “Mamayog Akun,” mesmerizing them with sheer vocal skills.

Meanwhile, the University’s Brass Band and Acoustic Band also showcased their own brand of music that wowed the crowd inside the venue with instrumental and vocal prowess.

The Dance Company stayed true to the concert’s theme, highlighting Filipino heritage throughout. AUDC-Street plugged electricity into the venue as they delivered routines dancing to tracks by modern Pinoy hitmakers Al James, Janine Tenoso and Al James.

The performances were punctuated by all the groups performing Richard Reynoso’s Isang Dugo, Isang Lahi, Isang Musika to conclude the one-night spectacle.
