Another Lady Falcon has soared to be one of the representatives of the Philippine’s colors in an international volleyball competition.

Adamson middle blocker Lorene Toring was chosen as only one of two non-National University players who were chosen to play in the 22nd Asian Senior Women’s Volleyball Championship to be held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from August 30 to September 6.

Along with Toring are NU star Michaela Belen, UAAP 84 Rookie MVP Allysa Solomon, and their fellow Lady Bulldogs Natashza Bombita, Camille Lamina, Shaira Jardio, Minierva Maaya, Evangeline Alinsug, Erin Pangilinan, Pearl Denura, Myrtle Escanlar, Arah Panique and Abegail Pono.

Nina Ytang of University of the Philippines rounds up the PH volleybelles roster.

Akari head coach Jorge Edson Souza de Brito calls the shots for the team, with NU’s Norman Miguel acting as deputy.

With the relatively young lineup, the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) attempts to create a team that would develop skills and chemistry to potentially compete in the 2025 FIVB Women's World Championships, which the Philippines aims to host.

Toring joins a long list of Adamsonians who competed for the country in international volleyball tilts, including the likes of Pau Soriano, Tatan Gata-Pantone, Mylene Paat, Bang Pineda and Jema Galanza.
