The University officially welcomed new students in campus for the 2023-2024 School Year with a series of orientations held at the AdU Theater during different dates.

Various sessions were conducted last August 1, 2, 4, 8 and 9 featuring discussions and an open forum with students and their parents or guardians about topics such as Academic and Administrative Policies, Academic Learning Tools, Student Services and Student Life.

An extra session last August 18 was also held for those who missed the initial installments of the said event.

College of Education and Liberal Arts Dean Dr. Gliceria Lunag welcomed the freshmen, officially accepting them as the University’s newest klasmeyts.

“To be a newcomer... [our] tendency is to simply go with the flow -- to simply observe, but please know that even if you are a newcomer, please feel our welcoming heart. That’s why we call you Klasmeyt,” she explained.

The directors and representatives of the different academic and administrative offices of the University were also in attendance as they answered queries and clarifications from students and parents alike.

The University’s performing groups also showcased their talents during the said programs.
