Falcons grounds JMCF in Kadayawan Cup

Adamson’s Men’s Basketball Team made good account of itself in its debut game in the 38th Kadayawan Festival Invitational Basketball League, beating Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. (JMCFI), 79-71, last July August 3 at the University of Southeastern Philippines Gymnasium and Cultural Center.
The Soaring Falcons, who are representing Davao City in the tournament, quickly jumped their foes to establish an early lead, which stood at 40-33 at the half.
JMCFI tried to mount comeback attempts but all were stifled by the San Marcelino-based crew.
Rookie point guard Mathew Montebon led the Adamson attack with 15 points, three rebounds and three assists.
The Nash Racela-mentored team will next face College of Saint Benilde this August 4.
