Dr. Angelo A. Beltran, Jr. presented another paper at an international conference.

The Electronics Engineering (ECE) faculty member showcased the research work titled An Arduino based Power Management Controller with Cloud based Monitoring Scheme for Wind Turbine Generator Tied to Utility AC Grid in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers 11th International Conference on Power Electronics – ECCE Asia 2023 held last May 22 to 25 in Jeju, South Korea.

Dr. Beltran co-authored the study with ECE alumni George Darwin Arguelles, Gerald Franz Maliwanag, Carl Faustine Nabong, and Erlaine Pacantara, presenting a prototype developed to control the management system for wind energy and utility AC with the help of advanced cloud computing techniques.

“It is my pleasure and honor to present our research paper in an international conference; it means that our research in Adamson University is on par with the research standards abroad,” Dr. Beltran said.

“It is my yearning that this may continue to inspire our academic community to continue excelling in research.”

The said conference was organized by the Korean Institute of Power Electronics, co-sponsored by IEEE Power Electronics Society, in cooperation with several academic institutions and industries in power electronics and energy systems.

AdU’s ECE Department currently has a Level III accreditation from the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACUCOA) and is a recognized as a Center of Development by the Commission on Higher Education. It is also fully accredited by the Philippine Technological Council (PTC).
