Two senior Lady Falcons will remain in the nest.
Middle blocker Lorene Toring and attacker Lucille Almonte will still banner the colors of San Marcelino come UAAP 86 as both have decided to remain with Adamson and play out their final year of eligibility.
This is after numerous Lady Falcons decided to move on from the team after former head coach Jerry Yee was released.
Almonte, through her social media, expressed her commitment with the Lady Falcons, saying "Ilalaban kita hanggang dulo," followed by a blue heart icon.
Toring, meanwhile, had initially confirmed she will use her final year of residency along with team captain Louie Romero, but after Yee was released, it was only Toring who remained.
Kate Santiago, Ckyle Tagsip, Rizza Cruz and Trisha Tubu were also reported to have left the nest.
Announced to replace Yee is former Falcon spiker and current Baby Lady Falcons head tactician John Philip Yude, who will be joined by fellow Adamson volleyball alumni Sheila Marie Pineda and Leo Miranda.
Toring and Almonte will be tasked to lead a new batch of Lady Falcons including the core of the UAAP 85 Baby Lady Falcons that made the tournament’s Finals – Red Bascon, Eloi Aljibe, Jao Cuenca and Juris Manuel, as well as transferee Barbie Jamili.
May Ann Nuique, Ayesha Juegos, Antonette Adolfo, Ishi Lalongisip, Karen Verdeflor, Angela Marce and Angelica Alcantara will also remain with the Lady Falcons.
Ella Toring, Jen Villegas, Martina Aprecio and Jules Lopena are also with the team.
The new era for the Lady Falcons is expected to begin in the Shakey’s National Invitational League slated this July.
