A film made by a student from the University’s Communication Department was recently chosen as an official entry in The Manila Film Festival.
Justin Bobier’s “CTRL F-ESC" was one of four out of 27 entries that have been cleared to be shown on-screen as part of the celebration of Araw ng Maynila from June 16 to 24 at the SM Manila Cinema.
The film’s screenplay was produced by one of Adamson’s RSOs, Silip@Lente, in partnership with the Cultural Affairs Office.
“CTRL F-ESC" features a storyline inspired by the shared experiences of different students during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aside from Bobier, the film’s director, it also features Adamsonians in its production staff, namely Tricia Reena Loi Lorenzana as Screenwriter and Aisha Ahamad, Jan Bernadette Bondad, Kehn Matthew Delica and Colleen Millicent Gane as Assistant Writers.
Other films that made the official list of films to be screened are Arellano University's "Unspoken" and Colegio de San Juan de Letran's "The Adventures of Kweem Jhonabelle" and "The Uncanny."
