Current and former Falcons continue to show Adamsonian excellence in the international scene as they represent the Philippines in the 2023 Southeast Asian Games held from May – to – in Cambodia.

Olympian Carlos Yulo, an alumnus of the Basic Education Department, headlines the klasmeyts who will don the country’s colors in the biennial meet. Yulo will compete in the men’s artistic gymnastics competition.

Reigning King Falcon Jerom Lastimosa, meanwhile, will be part of the Gilas Pilipinas “Redeem Team” that will try to reclaim the gold medal in the 5x5 men’s basketball competition.

This year’s contingent will also not be short of Falcon spikers as Lady Falcons alumni Jema Galanza, Mylene Paat and Sheila Pineda will be part of the women’s volleyball national team while fellow AdU volleyball alums Sherwin Meneses and Cherry Rose Rivera-Macatangay will be part of the coaching staff.

Galanza and Pineda play for the Creamline Cool Smashers and Akari Chargers in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), respectively, while Paat is with Nakhon Ratchasima of the Women's Volleyball Thailand League. Meanwhile, Meneses is currently the head coach of PVL Champions Cool Smashers, which players headline the national team lineup.

Rivera-Macatangay, on the other hand, is an AdU legend who also played for the last Philippine women’s volleyball contingent that achieved a podium finish in the SEA Games.

Coach Renz Paguia of the Badminton Team will also be part of the coaching staff of the Philippine Badminton Association’s Smash Pilipinas National Team.
