Lady Falcons end UAAP 85 3x3 basketball in Final Four

Adamson’s women’s basketball team continues their climb to the top in the UAAP as the quarter from the Lady Falcons ended their UAAP 85 3x3 basketball campaign as part of the tournament’s Final Four.
Jam Meniano, Kat Agojo, April Tano and Elaine Etang tallied a 2-1 win-loss card in Pool B of the elimination round before bowing to eventual silver medalists Ateneo de Manila University, 21-15, during the games held last May 3 to 4 at Calatagan, Batangas.
The San Marcelino team led early in the match with Ateneo, with Tano launching a booming deuce to begin the scoring, but their foe’s height just proved too much for the Lady Falcons.
Tournament Rookie of the Year Kacey dela Rosa dominated Adamson in the paint en route to their eventual victory.
Elaine Etang paced her team with seven points, while Tano and Agojo had four and three markers, respectively. Miniano also tallied a point.
