Two Baby Falcons have confirmed they are staying in the Nest for their seniors campaign in the UAAP.

UAAP 85 juniors basketball finalists Peter Rosillo and Mat Edding will remain in San Marcelino, the team announced this May 1.

Rosillo, 19, is a 5-foot-8 playmaker from Surigao del Norte who posted averages of 13.79 points, 4.14 rebounds, 2.43 assists, 1.5 steals. He was ranked 9th in the most recent NBTC rankings.

Meanwhile, Edding is a 20-year-old skipper with averages of 10.92 points, 7.77 rebounds, 4.62 assists, 2.46 steals. The 6-foot-1 Zamboanga City native was ranked 23rd in the same rankings.

Falcons head coach Nash Racela expressed his excitement at the commitment of two of the top players in Adamson’s juniors basketball program.

"This is big for the continuity of our program. We are aware of how other programs do their recruitment and we want to do it another way. That is why we put so much importance in our high school program in the hope that they will transition smoothly to our seniors team," he explained.

Rosillo and Edding towed the Mike Fermin-mentored Baby Falcons to the top of the UAAP 85 boys’ basketball tournament en route to their first Finals appearance in 20 years.

Both will have five playing years and are eligible to play come Season 86.
