Industrial Engineering org recognizes VPA, IE Dept. heads

The Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Society awarded various personalities from the University in the 2023 IEOM Manila Awards held last March 7 to 9 at the Hillton Hoten in Manila.
Vice President for Administrative Affairs Dr. Venusmar Quevedo led the quartet of Adamsonian awardees as she was recognized as one of Women in Industry and Academia Awardees. Dr. Quevedo also served as Department Chair of AdU’s IE Department until the early 2000’s.
IE Chairperson Engr. Lourdes Lasian, meanwhile, was recognized with a Society Outstanding Service Award.
Engr. Shiela Mae Carungay, adviser of AdU-Philippine Institute if Industrial Engineers was granted the Student Chapter Faculty Advisor Award, while AdU Chapter President Julia Kate Culong was one of those presented with an Outstanding Leadership Award.
The said event was held together with the 13th Annual IEOM International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management, which featured various fora and research and skills-based competitions on IE.
