University hosts nat’l math org tilt

Adamson continues to be haven for competitions in forum, this time serving as the venue for the 2023 Mathematics Society of the Philippines-National Capital Region’s (MSP-NCR) Search for Senior Math Wizz held at the Co Po Ty Hall of the Dr. Carlos Tiu Center for Research and Innovation Building, March 25.
Students from different tertiary-level institutions from all over the country participated in the event organized by the MSP-NCR, the AdU Mathematics and Physics Department, and the Adamson University Mathematics Society.
Jericho Rodriguez from the University of the Philippines (UP) ruled the event as first place winner. Justine Khoo of Mapua University and ___ of Ateneo de Manila University ended up as second and third placers, respectively.
Among the institutions that participated in the contest are Ateneo, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, De La Salle University – Manila, Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology, Lyceum of the Philippines University, Mapua, National University, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Philippine State College of Aeronautics.
Also present as participants are students from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Quezon City University, Rizal Technological University, Saint Louis University, Sta. Catalina College – Manila, Technological Institute of the Philippines, Technological University of the Philippines, University of Mindanao, University of Saint Louis, University of Santo Tomas, University of the East and UP.
