Adamson’s softbelles are now softball champions for a whole decade.

The Lady Falcons capped their 10th consecutive UAAP Softball title after escaping the gritty University of the Philippines, 2-0, this March 18 at the UP Diliman Baseball Field.

The histroric feat marked the blue and white team’s 19th overeall title and their 15th in the last 17 seasons.

Home runs in the second inning from Jenette Rusia and Alaiza Talisik were the only runs scored throughout the game, and it was enough for Coach Ana Santiago’s wards to fend off their foes.

The Lady Falcons countered base hits early in the UP at bats by catching runners attempting to steal a base and scoring double plays off ground balls. The final inning ended with a Subaldo fly ball caught by Adamson’s second baseman.

Season Best Pitcher and eventual Finals MVP Glory Alonzo registered another impressive outing after limiting UP to three hits and leaving four on base despite also giving away three walks.

Among the individual awardees' for the Lady Falcons are Madaelene Domaug, who had the Most Stolen Bases with five, and Angelu Gabriel, who had the Most Home Runs at two.
