The Baby Falcons have reached the finals of the UAAP Boys Basketball Tournament, a feat they last held in 2003 with the team led by Leo Canuday.

Adamson overcame a tight challenge from fourth-seeded University of Santo Tomas, 62-55, UAAP Season 85 Boys Basketball Tournament last March 7 at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

The top-seeded San Marcelino squad averted a slow start in the first half and uncorked an offensive barrage in the third canto to outscore UST, 16-9, and snatch a 46-42 lead.

The Baby Falcons then continued to have answers to the runs of UST, punctuated by a Peter Rosillo trey to erect a 10-point lead, 62-52, with less than two minutes left on the clock.

"I'm happy for them," said coach Mike Fermin after the Baby Falcons achieved another historic feat for their team. "Kasi sa mga preseason tournaments, yes, nagpa-Finals kami but this is a different atmosphere.”

Vince Reyes led Adamson with 21 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals while Justine Garcia added 14 points, seven assists, and three steals.

The Baby Falcons now wait for the winner of the series between FEU-Diliman and Nazareth-NU for their final's matchup.
