The Baby Falcons suffered a shock end to their win-streak as they bowed to Ateneo High School, 55-58, in the UAAP Season 85 Boys' Basketball Tournament at the Paco Arena, February 25.

The game was close all throughout, with the end decided on the final minute.

Mat Edding gave Adamson a 55-54 advantage off a jumper from a Peter Rosillo dime. He then sent Lebron Nieto to the charity stripe after a foul during a putback attempt, with the Ateneo guard hitting both his freebies.

Baby Falcons Head Coach Mike Fermin called their final timeout to setup a play to recover the lead, but Rosillo botched his attempt, forcing the San Marcelino team to foul with 1.8 ticks left on the clock.

Rosillo tried to throw up a hail mary to salvage the game but missed.

Vince Reyes paced the Baby Falcons with 19 points while Edding added 14 markers and nine rebounds.

Rosillo, however, was limited to eight points on 3-of-12 shooting from the field.

The Baby Falcons will try to bounce back as they end their eliminations campaign against University of Santo Tomas on February 28.
