Baby Falcons extend streak to 10 with UE romp

The Baby Falcons continue to roll over competition in the UAAP 85 Boys Basketball Tournament, this time routing University of the East, 83-60, February 19 at the Filoil EcoOil Center in San Juan.
Mat Edding posted 16 points, eight boards, and six assists to lead the San Marcelino-based dribblers to its tenth straight victory.
But despite his team’s hot streak, Head Coach Mike Fermin still prefers to take the tourname one step at a time and not let the feat get over them.
"Every game, we have small goals na tsina-challenge ko sila. Small lang naman because the bigger goal is to win. Kaya kami, quarter by quarter, we limit our turnovers," he said.
"Siguro, those little things, nagiging malaki ‘yon sa dulo dahil kapag na-accomplish nila ‘yung small goals na iyon, tataas ang kumpiyansa."
Adamson will next face De La Salle – Zobel this February 22 at the same venue.
