Adamsonian talent and OPM became the trope of what appeared to be a homecoming party for our klasmeyts as the Falcon Fete returned after three years of being shelved due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Carrying the theme Hiwaga, the annual University concert – a part of the 91st Foundation Anniversary --once again filled the SV Grounds last February 17 as students, employees and alumni alike flocked into the venue to witness their fellow Adamsonians and guest artists perform.

Tinik ng Teatro, the University’s sole theater group, jumpstarted the festivities with their Dulang Nonsense before HIMIG – Musicians of Adamson Univesity and Gravity Skills, Expertise and Talents (SET) pumped up the crowd with rousing acts. Social media sensation Kosang Marlon also made a short appearance and sang his viral rendition of the song Jopay by OPM band Mayonnaise.

Cheers then engulfed the venue as The Itchyworms went onstage for their set. The band led by celebrity vocalist Jugs Jugueta rocked with the attendees with their classic hits “Beer,” “Di na Muli” and “Akin ka na lang.”

The energy never went down as bands and artists Nikki Nava, Spacedog Spacecat, Leanne and Naara, and Hey June continued feeding the crowd with party atmosphere.

Lola Amour then followed suit, ending their set with their hit single “Fallen,” while Moonstar88 officially concluded the event, beginning their set with “Migraine and closing it with their patented song “Torete,” which led the crowd to sing along as the lights close out on another successful fete.
