A near triple-double from Mat Edding towed the Baby Falcons to their fourth straight victory as they buried University of Santo Tomas, 91-64, in the UAAP 85 Boys Basketball Tournament held at the San Andres Sports Complex last January 29.

Edding finished with 19 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists as his team levelled with FEU-Diliman in second place of the league’s rankings.

"We really prepared for this game kasi one game ahead sa kanila (Tiger Cubs). 3-1 sila kami 2-2. If we lose, tatabla sila sa amin," head coach Mike Fermin said during the post-game interview, lauding his wards’ performance.

"I told the boys that we needed separation going to this game. Maganda ang three days na preparation."

Vince Reyes, meanwhile, filled the stat sheet after posting 16 markers, eight boards, three dimes, three steals and three blocks while Peter Rosillo and Justin Garcia added 13 and 10 points, respectively.

Adamson will next face University of the East on February 1 at the Filoil EcoOil Center in San Juan.
