CALL FOR PAPERS

We are pleased to announce the new schedule for the 7th Regional Conference on Campus Sustainability (7RCCS) to be held in conjunction with the 8th Engineering Research Congress (8ERC2023). The conference will be organized by Adamson University in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Sabah (Malaysia), and National Institute of Technology-Fukushima College (Japan).

The conference will be held under a hybrid setup, onsite at Adamson University and via Zoom.

             The conference organizers are inviting papers relevant to the theme of the conference.

Papers are also invited in the sub themes of:

            7RCCS is originally scheduled in March 2020 but was cancelled due to pandemic.

            We are also inviting student participants for a pitching competition on Sustainable Technologies to be held during the 8ERC/7RCCS Pre-Conference Colloquium on March 22, 2023.

The important dates for the conference are as follows:

12th February 2023 (Sunday) Abstracts and Poster Proposal Submission
19th February 2023 (Sunday) Acceptance Notification
5th March 2023 (Sunday) Full Paper and Poster Submission
12th March 2023 (Sunday) Registration and full fees payment
23rd and 24th March 2023 (Thursday and Friday) Conference

22nd March 2023 (Wednesday) 8ERC/7RCCS Student Pre-Conference Colloquium

Abstracts (Paper and Poster) Submission

Abstracts (one page abstract, typed, single-spaced and maximum 250 words) should be submitted for review and selection. The abstracts should summarize the key points of the paper and with a maximum of 5 keywords that define the subject matter and it should be typed in MS WORD format, single-spaced with margins of 1-inch on sides, 1.5 inches on top and bottom and using 12-point Tahoma font.

The paper is reviewed based on the quality of the abstract. Thus, ensure a complete abstract is submitted. Authors should write their name and indicate their affiliation (e.g. university name, state) only below the title of the paper. Abstracts must be submitted to 7rccs@adamson.edu.ph.

All the abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Paper Review Committee and authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit full papers. Once the abstract is accepted, at least one of the authors must register and present the paper at the Conference. Camera ready versions of the accepted papers submitted by 5th March 2023 will be distributed to all the conference delegates via download on conference website.

Best papers will be competitively selected and authors will be acknowledged with a certificate to be presented during the closing ceremony on March 24, 2023.

Full Papers Submission

1. Manuscripts submitted to 7RCCS2023 should be original contribution and should not have been previously published nor under consideration for publication elsewhere. Individual and multiple authors are welcome to contribute.

2. Manuscripts must be written in English.

3. The abstract should summarize the key points of the paper with a maximum of 6 keywords that define the subject matter.

4. Manuscripts should normally not exceed 5,000 words.

5. All contributions should follow the format and style described in the guideline.

6. All manuscripts should be typed in MS WORD format, single-spaced with margins of 1-inch on sides with 1.5 inches on top and bottom and using 12-point Tahoma font.

7. Manuscripts should include the following major sections & sequence: title, affiliation of the authors (e.g. university name, state), abstract (not more than 250 words), keywords (3-5 words only), main body (Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Findings, Conclusion) and references.

8. The main body or text should be divided into headings and subheadings. Main headings should be centered on the page and subheadings placed at the left margin.

9. Tables and figures (300dpi) should be clearly labelled, in the format and style described in the guideline and suitable for direct reproduction.

10. References should follow the APA 7 Style.

All the full papers will be reviewed by the Scientific Paper Review Committee.

Publication Opportunities

Selected papers from the conference will be considered for publication in an indexed journal, Journal of BIMP-EAGA Regional Development.

Registration

All presenters and participants must register for the conference. The registration and full fees payment due date is on March 12, 2023. Registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment. The conference registration fee includes participation in all conference sessions, participation in all scheduled meals, functions, and refreshment breaks. Copy of the conference proceedings and program will be available from the conference website.
