Lucas George Adamson, son of AdU founder, dies at 84

Dr. Lucas George Adamson, son of AdU Founder George Lucas Adamson has passed away this January 12 in Dubai.
He was 83 years old.
Lucas George is the only son of George Lucas. Along with his mother, Evdoxia, he has become a prominent personality in the University, representing his late father in some of the events AdU held for its founder.
Last 2012, along with the Adamson family, he attended the inauguration of the University Museum’s Founder’s Wing, which featured different memorabilia the former donated.
The Adamson Family retired from AdU in 1967, three years after turning it over to the Congregation of the Mission. They then returned to their home country of Greece and eventually relocated to Spain after the death of George Lucas.
Lucas George is survived by his wife Theresa June; children George Lucas and wife Maria, and Dorothea Alexandra; and grandchildren Maria Alexandra and Lucas George.
