A late night game proved costly to the Lady Falcons as they appeared to lose steam in closing out the game and eventually falling to the UST Tigresses, 20-25, 29-27, 25-15, 27-29, 10-15, in the opening day of the Shakey’s Super League 2022 at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

The girls of debuting coach Jerry Yee secured a 2-1 set advantage before faltering in the fourth and final sets.

Service errors did not help the San Marcelino-based squad as it became the decider in the fourth frame.

UST skipper Eya Laure, meanwhile, closed out the ladies in blue in white to get the win for her Tigresses with a five-point barrage.

Adamson started slow but eventually picked up phase in the second set in a tightly contested affair. They then blew out UST in the third, with the deficit reaching an 11-point gap.

The Lady Falcons currently sit at a 0-1 card as they await for their new schedules as the threat of Super Typhoon Karding forced league officials to cancel the succeeding games
