Biology alum wins best poster in Taiwan-PH forum

An alumna of the University’s Biology program recently bagged a top prize in an international research forum.

Audrey Wayne Abinal, through her work In Silico Bioremediation Potential of Microplastic Pollutants by Plastic Degrading Streptomyces lividans Microbial Enzyme Xylanase 10A, won 1st Place in the Poster Competition of the 2022 Taiwan-Philippines Bilateral Symposium held online last July 28 and 29


AdU, through its Facebook page, expressed its joy for Abinal’s feat.


“The whole Adamson Community is very proud of you!” the page account wrote, along with a publication material from the College of Science.

Mr. Gil Gabriel Villancio from the Biology Department and Mr. Searle Aichelle Dulay from the Chemistry Department served as her advisers.
