The AltruInnovate Project continues to generate more innovative tech projects, this time securing four more during the second round of signing of Memoranda of Agreement last April 20.

CellaMed (A Smart Medicine Cabinet), ABot or Amity BoT (Automated Web Assistant for University Websites), Tilalook (Online Platform for Frozen Processed Chicken Meat Supply Chain), and OptiCare Lamps (Smart Adaptive Lamp with Hydroponic Indoor Plant) were adopted by the project.

Dr. Merlinda A. Palencia, Head of the AltruInnovate Project, spearheaded the event with an initial of seven groups providing their presentation pitches to a selection panel committee.

The groups were judged using criteria focusing on high-priority technologies and industries,  addressing social issues in the country, having a defined revenue and business model and an evident passion for innovation and opportunity.

The Facilitators for the event were Engr. Richmond Tolibas, Marketing Development Officer of Adamson University Neo Science and Technology Innovation Center (AdUNEST), and Ms. Felvic Fresco, Technology Transfer Coordinator of AdUTX. Engr. Noe Enriquez, Head of IP Commercialization, and Dr. Venusmar C. Quevedo, Innovation and Technology Support Office Manager were also present at the MOA signing.

AltruInnovate is under the umbrella of the Altruistiks program, a techonology innovation partnership project between professional services giant Accenture and the University’s AdUNEST.
