Beltran of ECE speaks in Colegio de Muntinlupa, IEEP webinars

Dr. Angelo Beltran Jr. served as one of the keynote speakers in two recently concluded forums.

Beltran talked about ‘Wind Energy Forecasting Using Intelligent Systems: Trends and Perspectives’ in the 2nd Colegio de Muntinlupa Research Colloquium held online last November 28. The event featured the theme “Programs United! Showcase of CDM’s Efforts in Building a Culture of Research and Development in Academe” in celebration of National Science Technology Week.

The ECE prof then engaged in another speaking gig in Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines’ (IEEP) Electronics Engineering Conference 2021 and Annual Grand Meeting of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (E-AGM 2.0) last November 29.

Dr. Beltran delivered a discussion on ‘Energy and Environment: Recent Trends and Perspectives,’ a nod to the webinar’s theme “Embracing Digital Transformation in the Time of New Normal.”

“Conferences and colloquiums such as these are paramount podium for Engineers because it iswhere we can treasure imperative updates from the recent works amongst our peers”, he said, highlighting the value of such forum to the Engineering field.

“As an Engineer, innovation is always the passkey; we need to innovate and stay tuned with the recent trends.”

Dr. Beltran has continued to represent Adamson in countless webinars and research-related events.
