Fr. Joel Rescober, CM, Parish Priest of the Saint Vincent de Paul Parish, encouraged parishioners and the community to be in consistent prayer amid the present happenings in the society.
He urged attendees and viewers of the online stream to continue their devotion in the Blessed Mother through the Healing Rosary co-organized by the parish and the Manila Cathedral last November 24.
“As we conclude this Healing Rosary, may we remember our poor brothers and sisters; those who experience poverty, injustice, uncertainty amid the pandemic and other ails of our society so that they find refuge in the words of God, and the good works of His people,” he said.
“May we also remember the persecuted Christians who are blocked from living out their faith; that they find solace in faith and prayer with all our saints and the Blessed Mother,” Fr. Rescober furthered as the event coincided with Red Wednesday.
Buildings of the parish and Adamson U were also illuminated in red in solidarity with the church’s initiative.
