Academic and co-academic employees received a virtual tribute last October 14 via Zoom as the University celebrated teachers’ and employees’ day.
The Human Resource Management and Development Office, led by its Director, Ms. Grace Rapsing organized Isang Pasasalamat: A Grateful Heart is a Happy Heart, that featured the whole AdU workforce.
“I would like to thank our teachers and [co-academic] employees for making the teaching and learning possible in these times of pandemic, [especially] the special adjustments you made to [continue] rendering service to the University,” University President Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM, said.
“I would also like to ask you to be more sensitive with our clients – our students and their parents, [taking into consideration] our current situation. It may take more effort to keep going but this effort will make their stay with us more memorable and better appreciated… Thank you for what you are doing.”
Dr. Venusmar Quevedo, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, echoed Fr. Manimtim, thanking the workforce for constantly coping and keeping up amid the pandemic.
The event featured online community games that engaged participants in different competitions, as well as a raffle draw.
Students also serenaded their Sirs and Ma’ams, and Ate’s and Kuya’s with multiple song numbers throughout the program.
