IT&IS, CS faculty get Microsoft Associate certifications

Faculty members from the Information Technology and Information Science, and Computer Science Departments were awarded certifications as Microsoft Technology Associates last June.
Each faculty attended specialized training such as Database Fundamentals, Networking Fundamentals, Security Fundamentals, Software Development Fundamentals and Introduction to Programming using Javascript.
The MTA certification is an entry-level credential that authenticates vital technological skills and knowledge between those venturing in technology.
MTA tackles an array of critical technology ideas with exams intended to evaluate and confirm core technical concepts in the earlier mentioned disciplines.
