The University's Senior High School Department yielded new Vincentian-Adamsonian alumni in its second virtual Commencement Exercises last August 7.

Although online, the University aimed to bring the utmost experience for the graduates to appreciate their momentous feat.

To begin the ceremonies, Fr. Agustin Advincula, CM, University Chaplain, led the Baccalaureate Mass followed by graduation rites.

Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Catherine Castaneda then delivered a short talk on Success Parameters to inspire and guide the graduates on the next stage of their academic lives.

This year's Guest Speaker was Engr. Lilli Ann Zalameda-Khan, an Industrial Engineering alumna who is currently President of the University's Alumni Association in Southern California in the United States, and serves in the Board of Directors of the Philippine Disaster Emergency Committee.

Engr. Khan shared her journey in the University and how it led her to her present career – including adversities, challenging decisions, and opportunities.

"I also want to mention that once you complete your education, pay it forward. Stay connected not just financially but also share your knowledge with your Alma mater, "she said.

She then quoted Dr. Seuss, saying, "You are off to great places. Today is your day; your mountain is waiting for you, so get it on your way."

Commencement rites then resumed with the presentation of graduates, along with their respective awards.

Mary Angela Esquibel, a student with Highest Honors from the STEM Strand delivered the Address of Thanks.

The ceremonies concluded with the traditional singing of the University Hymn, and graduation song, Isang Ganap na Adamsonian.
