AdU academe, offices share exploits during Annual General Assembly

University employees began the new school year with AdU’s annual General Assembly held online last August 16.

The event carrying the theme Redefining the New Normal: Vincentian Resilience beyond the Pandemic underscored the experiences and developments from academic and co-academic departments during Adamson’s first year employing online education.

Reports from the Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President jumpstarted the proceedings after a short opening remark from Engr. Evelyn Raguindin, Dean of this year’s hosts, the College of Engineering.

The Offices of the Vice Presidents for Administrative Affairs, Financial Affairs and Student Affairs.

Newly-minted administrators including Fr. Rock Joseph Enriquez (Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs), Mr. Richmond Yap (Director, Admission and Student Recruitment), Sr. Vilma U. Aquino, SdP (Officer-In-Charge, Institute for Religious Education), Mr. Edward D. Bustillos (Director, University Information Security Office), Fr. Rolando A. Tuazon, CM (Dean, St. Vincent School of Theology), Fr. Kenneth P. Centeno, CM (Chairperson, Philosophy Program St. Vincent School of Theology), and Dr. Eleanor S. Austria (Officer-In-Charge – Dean, College of Science) were also introduced to the community.

A message from Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM, University President, where he lauded the AdU workforce and encouraged them to remain in fervent prayer, concluded the event.
