AdU alum gets bronze in Japan gymnastic tilt

Caloy Yulo showed why he is one of the Philippine representatives for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
The 21-year old Basic Education alum bagged the bronze medal in the parallel bars event of the All-Japan Apparatus Championships held at the Takasaki Arena last June 6.
Caloy tallied a final total of 14.966 after posting 6.400 in difficulty score and 8.566 in execution score.
Yusuke Tanaka and Kaito Sugimoto of Japan tied for gold after similar 15.400 finishes.
Caloy visited the campus last 2019 after his victorious campaign in the 2019 World Gymnastics Championships, finishing 10th overall, and atop the floor exercise event.
