The spirit of charity in the University continues as the Adamson University Association of Campus Student Advisers (AdU-ACSA) led a rice donation drive for the beneficiaries of Program COVID last March 29. Rice and Rise - ADU- ACSA Rice Donation Drive, represented by Ms. Irma Cartagena, turned over 12 sacks of rice in the first batch of the program.

“Thank you very much for this wonderful initiative in support of Program Covid. Your contribution is so precious. Thank you and may God continue to Bless you all abundantly,” the Integrated Community Extension Services Office said, posting photos of the turnover ceremonies on their social media page.

With a mission to “give hope and share love through a sack of rice to our less fortunate brothers and sisters, especially during this time of Pandemic,” the project tried to raise funds or a solidarity share of at least seven sacks of rice for the initial contributions.

This project which involves ACSA Offices, including its seven clusters consisting of 39 Recognized Student Organization Advisers, and sponsors, is expected to deliver the Second Batch of aids in the First Semester of the next academic year 2021-2022.
