The Innovation Technology Support Office (ITSO) continued its Technoprenuership bootcamp last April 8 with a seminar on Lean Start-up.
Dr. Richard Cahoon, Professor-adjunct at Cornell University, and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) consultant, was the session’s speaker.
The fifth session featured methods and techniques of allocating resources to avoid failure, manage disorder and uncertainty.
In his discussion, Dr. Cahoon discussed Lean Start-up as an opportunity for creativity and experimentation, mentioning entrepreneurs should show adaptability and know how to cultivate allies and supporters.
“Failure is okay, it is a necessary step to success, just persevere and have faith," he furthered as he encouraged potential technopreneurs to not be afraid to venture in the field.
