REVISED ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP POLICY AND GUIDELINES

To adapt to ensuing considerations brought by the shift to online learning, the University has reviewed and revised the policies and guidelines of the Academic Scholarship Program (ASP) to maintain its highly selective process while ensuring fairness and viability.
The easing of academic requirements has brought an unprecedented 400% increase in the number of scholars, a sudden influx which, along with other subsequent factors, the University strives to balance to safeguard the continuity of the ASP.
ASP covers the tuition fee for a regular load but does not apply to any other fees. Despite a majority of the previous guidelines being retained, new provisions were added, such as the number of slots based on enrollment per program, to ensure equitable distribution of slots to all programs. Deferment of grants due to meritorious reasons has also been included as long as the student files a Leave of Absence (LOA). Details of the ASP are posted under the scholarship section.
The revised policy and guidelines will take effect on the First Semester of School Year 2021-2022.
