Biology, AUBS host PAHAM 2021

Science education in the University continues to flourish as another webinar has been housed by the University.

The Biology Department, along with the Adamson University Biology Society, hosted PAHAM 2021, a two-day virtual scientific conference carrying the theme Cultivating Pioneers through Expert Interactions held last March 29 and 30.

PAHAM 2021 featured Renz Marion Gamido, and Riza Gloria Magsino as speakers.

Gamido, an alumnus of AdU’s Biology program and currently a Development Management Officer at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), gave an inspiring talk on the topic My Journey as an Adamsonian Biologist in the Field of Natural Resources Conservation.

Meanwhile, Magsino, who graduated with a Biology degree from Adamson and also holds a Master of Science in Microbiology degree from UST, discussed Moleculaar Biology for Genomics. She is currently a Senior Science Research Specialist at the Philippine Genome Center.

Mr. Gil Gabriel Villancio delivered the closing remarks to conclude the program.
