Adamson University lost one of it resident-priests after Fr. Constancio S. Gan, CM passed away last March 21.
He was 85.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the demise of Fr. Constancio S. Gan, C.M. who passed on yesterday, March 21, 2021,” an announcement from the University’s official social media page said.
Fr. Gan was one of the founding incorporators of the Adamson-Ozanam Educational Institutions, Inc. – the name adopted by Adamson University after it was transferred to the Congregation of the Mission in 1964. He contributed greatly in the preparation and eventual turnover of AdU from the Adamson Family to the Vincentians.
He was the first Registrar under the Vincentian Administration, from 1969 to 1974, and has held posts as Vice President for Finance, Treasurer and Personnel Director with the University.
