OIA holds online benefit concert for scholars

Scholars were the star of a concert organized by the Office for Institutional Advancement last March 19 via Zoom.
The post-Valentines concert titled AdU Cherish You aimed to collect financial support for all the scholars of the University.
“Your [donations] can help build [someone’s] dream!” the OIA wrote on their social media, promoting the event.
University President Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM lauded the efforts, and thanked everyone who took part in the affair.
“Whatever your generosity gives, will go a long way in the support of our scholars – our athletes, and other grantees in our University. Thank you for tuning in and I hope you’ll enjoy this concert,” he said.
Performers for the gig include The Voice Season 1 alum Thor Dulay, Side A original Pido Lalimarmo, and X-Factor UK finalist Maria Laroco. The event was hosted by comedienne and AdU alumnus Teri Onor.
The Voice PH Season 2 Grand Finalist Leah Patricio, and Tawag ng Tanghalan talents Julius Cawaling and Ayegee Paredes also delivered song numbers, as well as select members of the University Chorale.
