Fr. Manimtim elected to PACU BoD

Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM, University President, has been elected as member of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU).

Results posted on the organization’s social media last February 8 featured Fr. Manimtim as one of the PACU BoD for the National Capital Region (NCR) along with Dr. Vicente K. Fabella (Jose Rizal University), the Regional Vice President for NCR, Dr. Ma. Cristina D. Padolina (Centro Escolar University),  Dr. Michael M. Alba (Far Eastern University), Dr. Reynaldo B. Vea (Mapua University), Dr. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez (Our Lady of Fatima University), Mr. Marco Alfredo M. Benitez (Philippine Women’s University), Dr. Elizabeth Quirino-Lahoz (Technological Institute of the Philippines), and Dr. Ester A. Garcia (University of the East).

Dr. Patricia Bustos-Lagunda (Baliuag University) was elected Regional Vice President for Luzon, along with Dr. Peter P. Laurel  (Lyceum of the Philippines University – Batangas), Mrs. Naila E. Leveriza, MBA (Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation), Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, CICM (Saint Louis University), Dr. Zorba Bnn R. Bautista (University of Baguio), and Mr. Anthony Jose M. Tamayo (University of Perpetual Help DALTA – Molino). Tamayo was also elected as PACU President.

Atty. Augusto W. Go (University of Cebu) is the Regional Vice President for Visayas with members Engr. Bernard Nicolas E. Villamor (Cebu Institute of Technology – University), Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol III (University of Bohol), and Dr. Raymundo P. Reyes (University of Iloilo) while Mindanao will be represented by Regional Vice President Dr. Guillermo P. Torres, Jr.  (University of Mindanao), Ms. Laurice Faye R. Juarez (University  Capitol University), Dr. Karen Feliciano-De Leon (Misamis University), and (Dr. Evelyn Abellera-Magno (Rizal Memorial Colleges).

Atty. Anna Maria D. Abad, Dean of the AdU College of Law serves as the association's Legal Counsel.

The newly-elected officials will be at the helm for PACU from 2020 to 2022.
