EE profs present paper in DLSU Conference

Faculty from the Electrical Engineering department represented the University in the recently-concluded IPOPHL-DLSU Intellectual Property and Innovation Research Conference held last December 4.

Ms. Jemiry Royce Sarceda presented the paper titled Predictive Gail Analysis and Pedal Pressure Measurement for Fall Monitoring which she co-wrote with Engineering Dean Evelyn Raguindin, with Mr. Hans Patrick Biaco, Mr. Kenneth Villegas, and Ms. Anna May Ramos.

 As its webpage suggests, “The research congress aims to provide a venue for experts, researchers and enthusiasts of Intellectual Property and Innovation to engage in intellectual discourse in their respective fields.”

“The conference will showcase papers from both foreign and local researchers with topics discussing the contemporary issues in intellectual property and emerging technologies,” the description furthered.

The conference themes were Innovation, Technology, and Intellectual Property (IP) for Resilient Communities; Achieving the 17 SDGs through Innovation, Technology, and IP; Innovation, Technology, and IP in Education and Language; Innovation, Technology, and IP in Self-Development and Community Development; Innovation, Technology, and IP in the Arts and Humanities; and other topics related to Innovation, Technology, and IP.
