The Information Technology, Information Science, and Computer Science departments raised P103,100 in an online fundraising concert for the victims of recent calamities that struck various areas in the country.

Namnama, held last November 28, featured performances from IT/IS and CS alumni.

The said initiative was led by ITC Director Camela Racelis, CS Chair Edward Bustillos, and IT/IS Chair Marvi Bayrante, along with professors from the said departments.

Namnama is Ilocano word for hope. In this trying times, we need to give hope. Together, let us show that no challenges nor typhoons can defeat hope with God's provisions of caring people,” the organizers wrote on the project’s streaming page. “Proceeds will help our kababayan in Cagayan and Isabela who were greatly affected by Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses.”
