The Vincentian community in San Marcelino has a new Multimedia Center.

Fr. Gregorio Banaga, CM, Provincial Visitor of the Congregation of the Mission led the blessing of the said facility in a private ceremony with the priest-residents of the CM Central House, September 27.

“This Media Center will be used to propagate the word of God, for evangelization purposes – to spread the message of the Congregation and attract new vocation. We can also use it to rally support for the poor, in spirit of Saint Vincent,” Fr. Banaga said.

“We can also use this to showcase talents of different people. This Center will be open to the Vincentian Family and to others who would like to avail of it with the permission of the Center’s director, Fr. Nelson Bisco,” he added.

Before the blessing proper, Fr. Tomas Mavric, CM, Superior General of the Congregation delivered a message to the Filipino Vincentian province.

“It [Vincentian Media Center] is a wonderful initiative as an instrument to reach out to the people around the world – to share the gospel [and] our charism, [and] to encourage others to follow Jesus, and the steps of Saint Vincent de Paul,” he said.

“It is to reach to the poor – to open doors for the people in need; it is to encourage the youth in their path of reflection of their own future, and encourage and develop the culture of vocation. I join with deep joy on this occasion and may this be always the instrument for the good, the glory of God, [and] bring people to the kingdom of God.”
