ChE studes win PIChE online tilt

Chemical Engineering students were victorious during a Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers
(PIChE) Cebu-sponsored online competition, besting contestants from other Chemical Engineering
schools in the country, last Septenber 18.
Rey Martin Estoque, Cecille Ferrer, and Jeffrey Palcone top scored Touche 2020 with 48 points
followed by the Technological University of the Philippines’ (TUP) 44 points and Cebu Institute of
Technology’s (CIT) 30 points.
University of the Philippines-Los Banos (UPLB), University of San Carlos (USC), and Mariano Marcos
State University (MMSU) also joined the event.
The contest was held as part of the 15th Chemical Engineering Week.
