Former Adamson star and current Lady Falcons head tactician Ewon Arayi has been looming to continue her basketball career with the establishment of the country’s first women’s professional basketball league.

The Perlas Pilipinas mainstay is considering an on-court return with the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL).

A report from ABS-CBN Sport quoted an Rhose Montreal, NBL executive vice president, that Arayi is thinking of having a second run.

Merenciana Ewonritseorlagha ‘Ewon’ Rosete Arayi is one of Adamson U’s greats, securing an MVP plum and leading the Lady Falcons of the early to mid 2000’s to two UAAP Women’s Basketball titles.

She is also one of the most decorated lady ballers in the country, playing seven years with Perlas – the longest tenure in the team’s history – and bagging gold in the 2010 SEABA Championship in Manila, and Bronze in the 3x3 women’s basketball event of the Asian Beach Games in Haiyang, China.
