Jerrick Ahanmisi will be the Soaring Falcons’ team captain for UAAP 83.
Despite a dip in his averages last season, the Fil-Nigerian sniper vowed to come back stronger in his final playing year, and bring back Adamson U to the Final Four after finishing with a 4-8 card this season.
Through 12 games, Ahanmisi averaged 14.2 points in 36-percent shooting, while also grabbing 3.8 rebounds, slightly lower compared to his 17.5 points on a 42-percent clip, while also posting 4.0 boards in Season 81.
The new AdU skipper now has the task to lead the young core of the Falcons bannered by sophomores AP Manalapaz and Joem Sabandal, as well as foreign student-athlete Lenda Douanga and Blue Eaglet-turned- Falcon Joaquin Jaymalin.
