The Soaring Falcons continues to add to its youthful core after securing the commitment of former Ateneo High School team captain Joaquin Jaymalin.
Assistant coach Don Allado bared the development through Twitter last Saturday, and was later confirmed by head coach Franz Pumaren.
The 6’1 swingman is expected to play important minutes with graduating sniper Jerrick Ahanmisi, and incoming sophomores Joem Sabandal and AP Manlapaz.
Jaymalin posted norms of 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 21 minutes of play last UAAP 82 where his Blue Eaglets landed third.
The 18-year old is expected to don a new shade of blue and white as he begins his collegiate career in UAAP 83.
Adamson U also secured commitments of 6’2 guard Jhon Calisay, and 6’4 wing RV Yanes, both from the defunct TIP Engineers program.
