Former AdU woodpusher ranks 3rd in online chess tilt

A former Adamson U stalwart has continued to take strides in the local Chess scene, adding another podium finish to his accolades.

Jerome Villanueva, a financial management alum, finished third in the 3rd Baby Uno Online Chess tournament with 11 points, following only former Asian Zonal titlist and UST head coach International Master (IM) Ronald Dableo (13.5 pts), and National Master (NM) Ronald Llavanes (11.5 pts) who represented the Philippine Air Force. 

The said competition is a three-week tournament organized by the Bayanihan Chess Club with matches dated June 14, 21 and 28.
